Your routed-tips list
Your agency’s portal opens on a list of every tip your program has routed to you, one row per tip: its reference, its category, its status, and when it came in.
What “routed” means
Section titled “What “routed” means”“Routed” means your program’s team decided this tip belongs with your agency, and released it to your agency’s portal. A tip doesn’t land here just because it happened near you or matches your agency’s territory in some general way. Your program’s team makes that call, tip by tip, and only the ones they route to your agency reach this list.
What the list shows
Section titled “What the list shows”At the top of the page is a count: how many tips are currently routed to your agency. Below that, each row shows four things:
- Reference — the case reference your program’s system gives a tip. It’s set automatically, the moment a tip becomes a case, so every tip on this list already has one.
- Category — the category your program placed the tip under.
- Status — where the tip stands in your program’s process right now. Every program sets its own list of statuses, so the wording can look different from one program to the next.
- Received — the date the tip reached your program.
Select a tip’s reference to open its detail page. Reading a tip covers everything that page shows.
The newest tips appear first. A tip doesn’t drop off this list when your program moves it to a later status or closes it out. It stays visible on your list after the case is resolved.
If the list is empty
Section titled “If the list is empty”If your program hasn’t routed anything to your agency yet, the page says so and stays empty until they do.
If you’re expecting a tip and don’t see it here, contact your program. They can tell you whether it’s been routed, and where.
